The United States Border Patrol, Program Management Office Directorate has a requirement to use a common contract, called the Integrated Surveillance Towers (IST), in order to continue uninterrupted deployments of its Integrated Fixed Towers (IFT) and the Remote Video Surveillance System – Upgrade (RVSS-U). Surveillance towers include sensors (e.g., EO/IR cameras, radars), power (e.g., grid power, solar powered batteries, back-up generator), site security (e.g., security fence, site-security cameras), and microwave communications backhaul. The contract will also include Communications Relay towers and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS).
